Adenium First Theater Production

July 2019 | A press conference was held in Aden to announce the production of the theater piece "Ala Hurukruk". The conference that took place on 27 July 2019 announced “Ala Hurkruk” as the first theater production for Adenium in association with Khaleej Aden Theater Troupe. Rehearsals began in early July with participation of Khaleej Aden Theater Troupe actors and a group of young new faces taking the stage for the first time. “Ala Hurukruk” is hopeful in becoming a strong return for commercial theater after four years of absence as a result of the 2015 war in Aden. Mazen Refat, Amr Gamal, and Marwan Mafraq wrote the screenplay of the piece. The piece is expected to premiere in August 2019 during Eid al-Adha holiday and is directed by Amr Gamal.
